Unfortunately 3:10 to Yuma didn't win an Academy Award this year. So let's hope that Christian will get another chance next year and get a nomination himself or for one of his movies in 2009.

Costume Designers Guild Awards 2008
Christian Bale presented the Distinguished Director/Producer Award to 3:10 To Yuma’s James Mangold and Cathy Konrad onstage during the 10th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards VIP reception held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.
On other Bale news, the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight is rumored to be premiering its trailer on March 7th with 10,000 B.C.
