Godmoney (1997, Image Entertainment)

Godmoney is a story of urban survival and set in the suburbs of Los Angeles. Nathan leaves New York and tries to leave his past of crime, drug addiction and life on the streets behind. Once in California he tries to put his life together, but is befriended by Matthew, a small time dealer who recruits Nathan to work for him. Nathan's life is turned upside down when Matthew offers him twenty thousand dollars to kill a rival dealer. Nathan must decide if everyone, including himself, has a price.

Check the Bonus material of the DVD for footage of the first 17 minutes of the original version of the film starring Christian Bale. During filming way back in 1992 director Darren Doane ran out of money and the project was stopped. The second and final version of the movie was shot some years later - without Christian Bale.

23rd Lifetime Achievement Award - Steven Spielberg (1995)

This documentary from the American Film Institute salutes Hollywood's premiere director Steven Spielberg by awarding him a lifetime achievement award in 1995. The most prolific filmmaker of all time, this video displays his three-minute childhood films through to his three-hour epic masterpiece Schindlers List. Hosted by Oscar winning actor Tom Hanks, Philadelphia and Forrest Gump, this tribute recognizes the genius of Spielbergs work. This little movie was created and filmed during the making of "Newsies" by some of the cast members.

A crazy killer on the set manages to reduce the number of cast members considerably! It features cameos from Kenny Ortega, Christian Bale and many more. It's great fun to watch!
